This is a great book to introduce the concepts of statistical learning (or machine learning). There are very clear descriptions of the concepts with accompanying step-by-step tutorials on how to implement them in R.

This book is very easy to read and understand. I bought it as a complement to my Intro to Analytics Modeling class and it helped me get a better grasp of statistical concepts and analytics models.

Easy to follow and sample codes helped a lot.

Can t say enough about how much I enjoy this text it is soooo much better than the text that was used in my graduate data science program.

This book turned out to be too advanced for me. Galaxy Books was great about giving me a prompt refund.
